The meeting reviewed and approved in principle the "Provisions on Several Issues Concerning the Handling of Administrative Reconsideration Cases on Government Information Disclosure by * Agencies", "Provisions on the Assessment and Evaluation of Law Enforcement Quality by * Agencies (Revised Draft)", and "Provisions on the Accountability of Law Enforcement Errors by * Agencies and the People (Revised Draft)".

The meeting pointed out that studying and issuing the "Regulations on Several Issues Concerning the Handling of Government Information Disclosure Administrative Reconsideration Cases by * Agencies" is of great significance for deepening law enforcement transparency, enhancing the transparency of law enforcement work, and safeguarding the people's right to know and supervision by maximizing the disclosure of law enforcement basis, procedures, progress, and results. We should revise and improve according to the review opinions, submit for approval according to the procedures, and issue for implementation. At the same time, we should effectively strengthen training and guidance for local government agencies, providing operational guidelines for further standardizing their handling of administrative reconsideration cases related to government information disclosure.

The meeting emphasized that revising the "Regulations on the Assessment and Evaluation of the Quality of Law Enforcement by * Agencies" and the "Regulations on the Accountability of Law Enforcement Errors by * Agencies and People" is an important measure to strengthen the standardization of law enforcement by * agencies, improve the quality and credibility of law enforcement, and implement the responsibility system for law enforcement and case handling. We must promptly revise regulations, clarify the scope of evaluation, scientifically and standardly set evaluation standards and project indicators, strengthen the application of evaluation results, effectively play the positive guiding role of law enforcement quality evaluation, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of law enforcement officers, enhance their sense of responsibility, and continuously improve the quality and efficiency of case handling. We need to further improve the law enforcement responsibility system, clarify the criteria for identifying law enforcement errors and the division of responsibilities, distinguish between different situations to pursue responsibility, implement a lifelong accountability mechanism for wrongful cases, effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the people, and strive to make the people feel fairness and justice in every judicial case.

The meeting requires that all departments, police forces, and local * agencies, especially the main responsible comrades, should continue to overcome difficulties and push forward comprehensive deepening of * reform with courage, perseverance, and a resolute style. For the reform plans that have already been introduced, we should closely combine them with reality to improve their implementation and execution, ensure the implementation of plans, work, and responsibilities, and ensure that all reforms achieve the expected results.
