Solution color inspection is a routine inspection item for the physical properties of drugs. Regarding the method of solution color inspection, it is described in pharmacopoeias of various countries, with some similarities but also some differences. Below, by comparing the solution color inspection methods in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, the United States Pharmacopoeia, the European Pharmacopoeia, and the Japanese Pharmacopoeia, we will summarize the solution color inspection standards in various countries for easy reference and citation.
