Explanation and Application

TEALON TF 1570 is a structured polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) gasket sheet material manufactured using a process that provides high levels of fibrosis, thereby overcoming creep relaxation and cold flow issues associated with ordinary (machined or molded) PTFE sheets. TEALON TF 1570 is made of polytetrafluoroethylene filled with hollow glass microspheres. It meets FDA requirements and can be used in the food and pharmaceutical industries. TF1570 is a material for fragile flanges, glass lined equipment, or other applications that require higher compressibility.
