SealTex brings good news again! Another asbestos free environmentally friendly sealing material has obtained KTW-BWGL drinking water certification.
Recently, our ST-2058-G asbestos free sealing material has passed the UBA KTW-BWGL P3 level drinking water certification in Germany. The certification report was issued by DVGW (German Gas and Water Industry Association) for testing. Previously, our ST-2058-W had already passed the P2 level of this standard.
The KTW-BWGL standard was released on March 21, 2019 and officially came into effect on March 21, 2021, gradually replacing the original KTW directive and integrating European drinking water regulations. Expected to be officially launched in 2027, new compliance requirements will be put forward for the sealing industry of cold and hot water systems such as pipe joints, pipelines, valves, etc. that come into contact with drinking water.
