At the just concluded annual event for small power equipment, SealTex not only had in-depth discussions with industry colleagues on market trends and technological frontiers, but also took this opportunity to showcase a series of high-performance sealing solutions developed for the harsh working conditions of outdoor power equipment. Outdoor power equipment often operates continuously under vibration, high temperature, oil medium erosion, and harsh weather conditions. The performance of its seals directly determines the power output, emission level, service life, and user experience of the equipment. The failure of any sealing point may lead to power attenuation, oil leakage, increased noise, and even equipment shutdown. Therefore, selecting sealing materials that match the working conditions is a crucial step in product design.

At this year's conference, we focused on presenting the following types of sealing material solutions, each with its own strengths to accurately address the challenges of different parts. At the same time, we can also provide customers with technical support such as FUJI pressure testing and FEA finite element analysis from the beginning of sealing selection and design, providing long-term sealing protection for various small power equipment.
Core Display Materials and Application Analysis
1. Sealing of engine and transmission system
Cylinder gasket sealing: SEALTEX showcased a solution using ST-4872 and ST-9000-W. These two composite materials are characterized by theirgoodKnown for its high temperature stability, creep resistance, and sealing compensation ability, it can effectively cope with the high temperature and high pressure gas impact between the cylinder head and cylinder body joint surface, ensuring the long-term reliability of the engine's core seal.

Crankcase, oil pan, carburetor seals: For crankcases and oil pans with oil, fuel mixture vapor, and pressure, we highly recommend the American InterFace material N-8092 and SealTex ST-2152 material. This rubber based sealing gasket has good oil resistance, flexibility, and followability, and can maintain a reliable sealing effect even under fluctuations in bolt preload and slight deformation of the housing.

2. Sealing of exhaust and silencing system
The exhaust system is one of the areas with harsh working environments in equipment, which is exposed to high temperatures, corrosive exhaust gases, and condensed acids for a long time. We highly recommend SealTex's ST-4376 (exhaust system seal, capable of withstanding instantaneous high temperatures and continuous thermal cycles of exhaust pipes, while effectively compensating for changes in joint clearance caused by thermal expansion and contraction) and ST-4873 (silencing system seal).
