Project Background

The Science and Technology Research Institute of the National Health Commission (referred to as the "Research Institute") is a public welfare institution directly under the National Health Commission. It is a multidisciplinary and comprehensive national research institute engaged in scientific and technological research in the fields of human reproductive health, maternal and child health, genetic eugenics, etc. It is responsible for the dual tasks of scientific research and service guidance in the entire industry. Since 1991, the research institute has been continuously designated as a collaborative center for human reproductive research by the World Health Organization. It is a master's and doctoral training unit of Tsinghua University and Peking Union Medical College, a postdoctoral research workstation of the Ministry of Education, and one of the 18 national innovation talent training demonstration bases.

The research institute has numerous laboratories, and chemical management is mainly manual. There is no unified procurement platform, and there is a lack of a unified chemical management platform and equipment. At present, there are two underground warehouses, with one laboratory warehouse designated on each floor for centralized management of hazardous chemicals. Through information technology and intelligent equipment, strict supervision and use of hazardous chemicals are carried out, forming a full process solution from procurement application, procurement approval, financial docking, chemical warehousing, chemical storage, chemical use, and chemical disposal.

Solution

1. Research Procurement Platform: Establish a unified research procurement platform, review the qualifications of suppliers for reagent sales, complete online application and procurement of chemicals, and automatically connect with the financial system of the research institute.

2. Chemical management platform: Integrate with the scientific research procurement platform, push procurement information after reagent procurement, and provide production procurement pending inventory status information. Through the chemical management platform, chemicals are stored, collected, returned, and their usage is automatically recorded, enabling remote application, authorization, and use of chemicals. The entire process is automated and informatized, and electronic ledgers are generated.

3. KC-104 Intelligent Reagent Cabinet Function

(1) It has 4 independent storage spaces, which can be used for classified storage of hazardous chemicals. If the wrong or chemically reactive reagents are placed together, an automatic warning will be issued.

(2) After permission verification, only the corresponding storage space can be opened to cooperate with the camera for monitoring and recording.

(3) By using RFID technology to monitor the status of hazardous chemicals, the quantity and status of hazardous chemicals in the cabinet can be monitored in real time to ensure that the use and circulation of hazardous chemicals are matched with the system.

(4) Through various sensors, ensure that all indicators of the cabinet are normal and provide abnormal alarm reminders.

(5) Combined with the built-in weighing system of KC~100, it can monitor the weight of hazardous chemicals with an accuracy of up to 0.1G

Addressing the issues of traditional hazardous chemical management

1: It is difficult to control the use of personnel and items, without identity information, and it is unknown who took what and used what.

2: Fixed personnel management, inventory and clearing are required, resulting in high labor costs. The intelligent cabinet for hazardous chemicals can achieve 7 * 24 * 365 unmanned operation and real-time monitoring.

3: To solve the security management issues of enterprises and laboratories, public security agencies only need to export relevant data for inventory.
