Cable flaw detection testerUsed for scratching various mining cables below 6KV on the ground of coal mines, and for DC withstand voltage testing and leakage current testing after cable repair.
Structural characteristics:
1. This device consists of a control section (low voltage) and a high voltage rectification, discharge, and testing section. There is sufficient safety space between high and low pressure, as well as between high and low pressure and the casing.
2. To ensure the safety of equipment and personnel, a dedicated person must operate with a key before high-voltage starting.
3. During each inspection or testing of the cable, it is ensured that the high voltage gradually increases from zero position, with high and low voltage limit shapes. The process of increasing or decreasing voltage is controlled by buttons, with a smooth rate of voltage rise and fall and safe and easy operation.
4. The DC withstand voltage test time can be automatically controlled by a digital system (or manually controlled), and the test time is accurate and reliable.
5. The leakage current can be measured at any time according to the needs of the withstand voltage testing process.
6. The equipment has overcurrent and short-circuit protection, as well as startup warning and overcurrent protection.
7. There are power switches, high-voltage start, high-voltage stop, boost, buck and other switches or buttons on the control panel, as well as voltage withstand test digital time timing relays.
8. On the display panel, there are measuring meters for high voltage, leakage current, and low voltage total current, as well as indicator lights for power supply, high voltage, timing, and a curved observation window for ball gap discharge.
9. Equipped with high-voltage discharge rods for discharging after each inspection or test to ensure safety, and there is a grounding mark at the bottom of the box.
Precautions for operation:
1. Insulation pads should be attached before the equipment.
2. Operators should wear insulated rubber shoes and insulated gloves.
3. The core wire of the tested cable should be securely fixed with nuts to the high-voltage terminal post, maintaining good contact and avoiding leakage and current increase caused by discharge.
4. Unrelated personnel should be prohibited from approaching the work site.
5. After one year of use, the transformer oil should be checked for voltage resistance in a timely manner, and the voltage resistance should not be lower than 30KV/2.5 minutes.
6. Regularly (depending on the equipment usage intensity), use zero grit sandpaper to carefully polish the surface of the discharge copper ball smooth, and keep the surface and surroundings clean and dust-free.
7. The effectiveness of using this device depends on the careful maintenance of the user and the continuous accumulation of operating experience, mastering the relationship between the ball gap spacing and discharge voltage when using different cables.
