How to maintain a wireless phase shifter
Date: 2024-05-08Read: 22
Wireless PhaserTwo components that are not electrically connected to each other are equipped with electrodes that can be connected to the tested wire. One orange transmitter has a hook shaped electrode for hanging on the wire, and the other yellow receiver has a Y-shaped electrode for easy contact with the wire. These electrodes are used as antennas for transmitting and receiving signals, and the ends of the transmitter and receiver should be connected to insulated operating rods. The transmitter has a dual function and functions in a certain order.
Before and after using this instrument, the entire device should be equipped with electrodes for fully automatic testing of circuit voltage measurement using only a transmitter.
Twist the hook shaped electrode onto the top of the transmitter.
Install the emitter with electrodes on the operating rod.
Hang the hook on the transmitter to the tested circuit, and the operator can see four indicator lights at the bottom of the transmitter: LED1-LED4; One test button: TestButton; A buzzer.
Judgment:
When in contact with a live wire, an audible signal can be heard while four indicator lights are on. After 5-10 seconds, LED2-4 will turn off, and the sound signal will stop the transmitter. The set working time for voltage measurement is 5-10 seconds, and the transmitter will automatically enter phase measurement. At this time, only one LED indicator light is on. If the sound and light signals continue after 5-10 seconds, it means that the battery is low and needs to be replaced. If measuring another phase of the line, the transmitter needs to be disconnected from the line and wait for LED1 to turn off before placing the transmitter on the line for another voltage measurement. ditto.
When entering measurement mode, the transmitter emits radio frequency signals into the air while a portion of the signal is transmitted along the line used as an antenna. Once the receiver can recognize the signal, it immediately starts working.
Precautions and maintenance:
1. When verifying frequency transmission, the antenna must be installed first before verification. The shell of the high-voltage phase detector is made of polycarbonate and must be kept clean. All kinds of dirt or moisture must be wiped off. After each use, the instrument can be wiped with a cloth dipped in a small amount of silicone oil.
2. The instrument must be stored properly in the box when not in use.
3. Instruments stored at -10 degrees Celsius or lower in low-temperature environments must be stored in a warm place as required. The battery may fail if it is cooled.
4. The instrument should be tested before each use.
