The workflow of methane non methane total hydrocarbon analyzer
Date: 2025-09-24Read: 0
Methane Non Methane Total Hydrocarbon AnalyzerQuantitative analysis is achieved by separating or converting methane and non methane total hydrocarbons (NMHC), combined with a hydrogen flame ionization detector (FID).
Introduce the sample into a micro flame formed by ignition of hydrogen and air, where the hydrocarbons in the sample are oxidized to carbon dioxide and water, while producing ions. By measuring the intensity of ion flow, the total hydrocarbon content in the sample can be determined. Reuse high-temperature catalytic oxidation units to separate methane, measure methane concentration separately, and subtract methane concentration from total hydrocarbon concentration to obtain non methane total hydrocarbon concentration.
Technical characteristics:
Low detection limit: The detection limit of some instruments can reach ppb level, which can meet the detection needs of low concentration gases.
Accurate measurement: Adopting full process high-temperature tracing technology, it can effectively solve the problem of sample loss in high-temperature and high humidity gas environments, and also has automatic calibration function to ensure the accuracy of measurement results.
Easy to operate: The instrument is usually equipped with fully Chinese operating software, supports wireless control, and can be operated and data read through a tablet or mobile phone.
Methane Non Methane Total Hydrocarbon AnalyzerApplication areas:
Environmental monitoring: used for monitoring atmospheric environmental quality, timely grasping the concentration changes of methane and non methane total hydrocarbons in the air, and providing data support for air pollution control.
Industrial waste gas emission control: Help industrial enterprises monitor the methane and non methane total hydrocarbon content in waste gas emissions in real time, ensure compliance with environmental regulations, optimize production processes, and reduce pollutant emissions.
Emergency monitoring: In the event of a sudden pollution incident, it can respond quickly, provide key data for emergency response, help relevant departments take timely measures, and reduce pollution hazards.
