Product Introduction
The Strep Tag system is a novel protein purification system that simulates the streptavidin biotin system. Strep Tactin has an affinity for Strep Tag II that is at least 10 times stronger than streptavidin, and the separation and purification conditions are mild. Protein separation and purification can be achieved under physiological conditions; In addition, compared with other tags, Strep Tag II is a small tag of 8 amino acids (WSHPQFEK). Due to its small tag size of only about 1 kDa, it does not affect the structure and function of the fused protein. These mild purification parameters can preserve the biological activity of proteins and produce over 99% purity with just one step of extraction. BeaverBeadsTM Magrose Strep Tactin magnetic beads use a special protein coupling process to covalently couple Strep Tactin protein to the surface of superparamagnetic magnetic beads, preparing a novel functional material specifically designed for rapid separation and purification of Strep tag II protein. A protein purification platform with simultaneous extraction speed, extraction amount, and purity has been achieved and built.
