The 15th Shandong Province College Student Chemistry Experiment Competition is one of the events of the 16th Shandong Province College Student Science and Technology Festival, aiming to promote the reform and construction of chemistry experiment teaching in higher education institutions in Shandong Province, exchange experimental teaching experience, test the effectiveness of experimental teaching, enhance the interest and enthusiasm of college students in learning experiments and conducting experimental research, and guide and cultivate students' comprehensive quality and innovation ability.

Departments in Shandong Province with majors in chemistry or chemical engineering and pharmaceuticals will participate in the competition.

The competition consists of two parts: theoretical examination and experimental operation examination. The theoretical examination mainly includes the principles of chemical experiments, factual and procedural knowledge, chemical experiment operation norms, chemical experiment safety and environmental protection, and other contents. The experimental operation exam is divided into inorganic chemistry comprehensive experiment and organic chemistry comprehensive experimentTwo tracks mainly involve the synthesis, separation and purification, inspection and characterization, and application of inorganic and organic substances.
