Fully automatic hot press machines are widely used in fields such as composite material molding, lithium battery electrode sheet pressing, PCB lamination, powder metallurgy, and laboratory sample preparation. With advantages such as program control, temperature and pressure synchronization, and one click operation, they greatly improve production efficiency and product consistency. However, its high temperature, high pressure, and integrated automation characteristics also require higher operational standards. The correct use of fully automatic hot press machines is not only related to the quality of finished products, but also directly related to personal and equipment safety.

1、 Preparation before startup
Check the environment: Ensure that the equipment is placed in a ventilated, dry, and non flammable area, with sufficient operating and cooling space reserved around it;
Check the mold/material: Confirm that the mold is clean and undamaged, and that the size, number of layers, and stacking sequence of the pressed material meet the process requirements to avoid foreign objects getting stuck;
Check parameters: Verify whether the set temperature, pressure, holding time, cooling method, etc. are consistent with the operation manual. Special attention: It is strictly prohibited to operate at over temperature (usually ≤ 300 ℃) or over pressure (such as ≤ 10 tons).
2、 Standardize loading and mold closing
Place the material steadily in the center of the heating plate and close the protective door (some models come with a grating or safety interlock). Do not reach into the chamber while the device is running! Fully automatic hot press machines usually have safety mechanisms such as "dual hand start" or "access control interlock", which must be followed to prevent accidental triggering and injury.
3、 Monitoring during operation
After startup, the device automatically completes the steps of heating, pressurization, holding, exhaust (if any), cooling, depressurization, and mold opening according to the preset program. The operator should monitor the temperature curve and pressure feedback in real time through the observation window or HMI interface to see if they are normal, and pay attention to any abnormal noise, smoke, or alarm prompts. In case of emergency, immediately press the "emergency stop" button.
4、 Pick up and cleaning
After the program ends, the pressure returns to zero, and the temperature drops to a safe range (usually<60 ℃), the protective door can be opened to remove the finished product. Timely clean the residual adhesive stains or dust on the surface of the heating plate. A soft cloth dipped in alcohol can be used to wipe, and metal tools are strictly prohibited from scratching to avoid damaging the PTFE coating or heating element.
5、 Shutdown and maintenance
After daily use, turn off the heating and hydraulic systems, and keep the equipment unloaded and powered off. Regularly check the level of thermal oil (for oil thermal models), cleanliness of hydraulic oil, and tightness of electric heating tube wiring terminals, and calibrate temperature control sensors and pressure transmitters annually by professional personnel.
