NIMO TEMPO ® It is a wavefront sensor specifically designed for measuring artificial crystals. It is an innovative interferometer optimized to measure any type of artificial crystal, including diffraction designs. This instrument is equipped with its dedicated software TEMPO-MENTOR ® Control, this software has all the positive features of the MENTOR software series (CLE, IOL, PMTF) and is suitable for both R&D and production environments.
The measurement is carried out on site: the solution box is placed in an interferometer, and the imaging system obtains a set of phase shifted images. Then TEMPOMENTOR ® Reconstruct the wavefront of the artificial crystal and use complex optical calculations to calculate the characteristics of the lens from the MTF Through Focus curve, including focal length, astigmatism, ADD, and MTF related data. Complex ray tracing methods can simulate any corneal model. By collecting phase shifted images, the performance of artificial lenses in multiple apertures or different corneal models can be evaluated. These calculations do not require additional data collection. Once the complete set of data is obtained (which takes approximately 2 to 3 seconds), all calculations will be automatically performed, and the lens can be removed from the instrument. This is particularly practical in production, as the automatic processing of data is carried out covertly during the lens data collection period. The obtained data can still be used for post-processing and other parameters can be changed without the need to remeasure the lens. In addition to Power and MTF data, NIMO TEMPO ® It can also output the wavefront and wavefront step curve of any type of artificial crystal. For trifocal artificial lenses, all measurement processes do not exceed 30 seconds.
