1. Secure locking handwheel.

2. Clamp the specimen.

3. Clamp disposable blades.

4. Rotate the fast forward handwheel to move the specimen towards the blade. Or loosen the knife holder elastic wrench and move the entire knife holder assembly to bring the blade closer to the specimen.

5. Check all clamping devices of the specimen clamping mechanism and tool holder mechanism to ensure reliable clamping.

6. Choose a thick slice thickness (e.g30um）Or slowly advance the small handwheel, rotate the large handwheel on the right side to gradually bring the specimen closer to and in contact with the blade, until a flat specimen end face is cut.

Select the desired slice thickness value by adjusting the slice thickness adjustment knob in the upper right corner of the slicer.

1. The angle of the knife holder should start from a smaller angle and gradually increase until a suitable slicing angle is selected.

2. When slicing, the handwheel should rotate evenly, and the speed should be slower when cutting harder specimens.

3. The marking on the right side of the knife holder is used to select different slicing angles.

4. Rotate the handwheel evenly to slice and take samples.
