Since the introduction of the first cephalosporin in the 1960s, over 60 types of cephalosporins have been introduced to the market. In terms of market size, the total sales of antibiotics in China are in the billions, with cephalosporins accounting for about 60% of antibiotics. Antibiotic contamination has always been a research hotspot in the field of environment, and cephalosporins are an important class of antibiotics.

Capillary electrophoresis (CE) has the characteristics of high efficiency, rapidity, and multiple separation modes, as well as the characteristics of low reagent usage and environmental friendliness, and has a wide range of applications in multiple fields.
