Milk thistle is the dried and ripe fruit of the Asteraceae plant, Milk thistle. Silymarin is one of the flavonoid lignans, and its main active ingredients include silibinin, isosilibinin, silibinin, and silibinin, among which silibinin accounts for the largest proportion. The analysis and detection of silymarin are of great significance for the quality control of silymarin related medicinal materials. This experiment refers to relevant national standards and adoptsHPLC-UVWe have established a detection method for silymarin, providing a reference method for its quality control.
