Solid headspace refers to placing a solid sample directly into an empty bottle, keeping it at a certain temperature for a certain period of time, so that the residual solvent reaches gas-solid equilibrium in both phases, and quantitatively taking gas for injection and measurement.

Preparation for Headspace Gas Chromatography Analysis

1. Select the chromatographic column required for analyzing the sample, install the chromatographic column according to the instrument manual, and confirm that the chromatographic column is installed correctly.

2. Open the nitrogen cylinder valve and pressure reducing valve, and adjust the pressure to the set value.

3. Check for leaks at the joints of gas pipelines (air, nitrogen, hydrogen), inspect gas filters, and ensure that the inlet and outlet pressures of each pipeline are normal.

4. Turn on the power supply of the gas chromatograph host, headspace sampler, and computer. Double click the "Instrument1 (online)" shortcut key on the desktop to enter the gas phase workstation.

5. Select 'Method and RunControl' in the 'View' option.
