Add an appropriate amount of water to the outer pot, place the items that need to be sterilized into the inner pot, cover the pot lid and symmetrically tighten the screw.
Heating causes steam to be generated inside the pot. When the pressure gauge pointer reaches 33.78kPa, the exhaust valve is opened to discharge the cold air. At this time, the pressure gauge pointer drops. When the pointer drops to zero, the exhaust valve is immediately closed.
3. Continue heating, the steam in the pot increases, and the pressure gauge pointer rises again. When the pressure in the pot increases to the required pressure, reduce the firepower and maintain the steam pressure at the required pressure for a certain period of time according to the characteristics of the sterilized item. Then turn off the power or fire of the sterilizer, let it cool naturally, and slowly open the exhaust valve to eliminate residual gas before opening the lid to retrieve the item.
Precautions for using sterilization pots:
The items to be sterilized should not be placed too tightly;
B must fully eliminate the cold air, otherwise the temperature inside the pot will not reach the specified temperature, which will affect the sterilization effect;
After sterilization, do not release air or reduce pressure, otherwise the liquid inside the bottle will boil violently, wash off the bottle stopper and overflow, and even cause the container to burst. The lid can only be opened after the pressure inside the sterilizer has dropped to atmospheric pressure;
Nowadays, there are high-pressure steam sterilization pots with microcomputer automatic control. After releasing the cold air, the instrument can automatically maintain constant pressure timing. When the time is up, the power will be automatically cut off and the horn will sound, making it very convenient to use.
