Recently, the first phase of the intelligent three-dimensional breeding device for black soldier flies, jointly developed by Shanghai Shangshi Era Experimental Equipment Co., Ltd. and the School of Food Science at Shanghai Ocean University, has been successfully delivered and entered the overall collaborative debugging stage. This is a new achievement in the intelligent, intensive, and recyclable treatment of agricultural waste, and also a reflection of the strong research and development capabilities in the experimental equipment industry during the pilot period.

Deep integration of automation and green agriculture

The intelligent three-dimensional breeding device for black soldier flies includes core modules such as a walk-in temperature controlled wet breeding room, high-speed mobile stacking robot, multi-layer three-dimensional breeding, and lifting track. It can achieve full automation from feeding, breeding to discharging, temperature, humidity, and air circulation, and can accurately adjust temperature, humidity, and ventilation circulation. The breeding conditions for black soldier flies are precisely set, and the enclosed design can prevent odor leakage.

Compared to traditional breeding methods, the intelligent three-dimensional breeding device for black soldier flies developed and manufactured during the trial period has intensive production capacity, integrating garbage pretreatment, circular fabric breeding, automatic discharge screening, environmental control, and quality control facilities. It adopts a fully enclosed structure and internal circulating air supply, which can achieve efficient resource conversion. After treatment with black soldier fly larvae, organic waste can produce high protein feed, bio oil, and insect sand organic fertilizer, generating new resources and economic output. At the same time, there is no odor overflow or wastewater production, making it an environmentally friendly ecological industrial equipment.

The three-dimensional aquaculture technology of this device reduces 60% of the land area and saves 90% of labor costs through automated operations. It is an excellent practice of intelligent and automated technology in the agricultural industry.

New exploration of intelligence in ecological agriculture

As a "natural decomposer", the large-scale cultivation of black soldier flies has always been limited by artificial efficiency and environmental control. This trial period, in collaboration with Shanghai Ocean University, has not only improved aquaculture efficiency through cross integration of automation, the Internet of Things, and biotechnology, but also created an environmental sample with "zero wastewater and zero odor", providing new ideas for urban organic waste treatment. It is a powerful demonstration of scientific research achievements promoting industrial progress.

The R&D team of the pilot era stated that "liberating manpower with technology and empowering agriculture with technology is the mission of industrial workers in the new era." In the future, the pilot era will further optimize the system and promote the application demonstration of automated breeding systems nationwide.
