How much do you know about the main functions of the high-temperature cycling test box
Date: 2025-12-13Read: 0
High temperature cycling test box is a device used to simulate alternating high and low temperature environments, test the temperature resistance performance of materials or products, and is widely used in fields such as electronics, automotive, aerospace, etc.
The high-temperature cycling test chamber uses a heating system to rapidly increase the temperature inside the chamber, simulating a high-temperature environment (usually above 150 ℃), while cooperating with a ventilation system to ensure uniform temperature distribution. Some equipment also has refrigeration function, which can achieve low-temperature testing (such as below -60 ℃), simulate the alternating cold and hot scenarios of products in actual use through high-frequency temperature rise and fall (such as 5-20 ℃ per minute), and detect key parameters such as thermal fatigue and thermal expansion coefficient. Through independent refrigeration and heating systems, forced circulation of air inside the box is achieved, allowing the temperature to rise and fall at a predetermined rate between the set high, low, and normal temperatures and maintain it for a certain period of time, thus completing a complete temperature cycle.
Main functions
High temperature constant temperature test: Simulate the long-term working state of the product in a high temperature environment, and test the thermal stability, deformation, oxidation and other properties of the material. For example, automotive electronic components can run continuously for 1000 hours at a high temperature of 120 ℃ to verify their reliability.
Low temperature tolerance test: Evaluate the brittleness, shrinkage, and sealing performance of materials at low temperatures. For example, aerospace components are tested for structural integrity in an environment of -60 ℃.
Temperature cycle test: Simulate the alternating cold and hot scenarios of the product in actual use through high-frequency temperature rise and fall, and detect key parameters such as thermal fatigue and thermal expansion coefficient. For example, the battery module is subjected to cyclic testing between -40 ℃ and 85 ℃ to verify its charging and discharging stability.
Application field
Automotive industry: testing the performance of in vehicle electronics, lithium batteries, rubber seals, etc. at temperature.
Aerospace: Verify the reliability of onboard equipment and satellite components in high-altitude cold and re-entry high temperature environments.
Electronic information: used for aging screening and lifespan testing of products such as chips, PCB boards, communication modules, etc.
New material research and development: Evaluate the thermal fatigue performance and durability of new chemical materials, composite materials, and metal materials.
