Product Overview
Ammonia nitrogen in water refers to ammonia that exists in the form of free ammonia, mainly derived from the decomposition products of nitrogen-containing organic matter in domestic sewage by microbial action, industrial wastewater such as coking synthetic ammonia, and agricultural drainage. When the ammonia nitrogen content in water is high, it exhibits toxic effects on fish and poses varying degrees of harm to humans. The determination of ammonia nitrogen content in water is helpful in evaluating the pollution and "self purification" status of water bodies, therefore ammonia nitrogen is an important indicator for characterizing water quality pollution.
This analytical instrument is capable of long-term unmanned automatic continuous operation according to on-site settings, and is widely applicable to industrial pollution source discharge wastewater, industrial process wastewater, industrial sewage treatment plant wastewater, municipal sewage treatment plant wastewater, and other occasions. According to the complexity of the on-site testing conditions, corresponding preprocessing systems can be selected to ensure the reliability of the testing process, accurate testing results, and fully meet the on-site requirements of different occasions.
Basic Principles
According to the national standard salicylic acid colorimetric method, in the presence of alkaline medium and nitroso iron, ammonia and ammonium ions in water react with salicylate and hypochlorous acid ions to form blue compounds. The analyzer detects the color change and converts it into ammonia nitrogen value for output.

Calibration cycle: (1-99) days, adjustable at any interval and any time.
Maintenance cycle: usually once a month, about 30 minutes each time.
Reagent consumption: less than 0.50 yuan/sample.
Output: 2-channel RS-232; 1 channel (4-20) mA.
Environmental requirements: Indoor with adjustable temperature, recommended temperature range of+5-28 ℃; Humidity ≤ 90% (non condensing).
