1、 Daily usage standards
1. Check before startup
-Electrolyte level: throughIntelligent hydrogen generatorObserve the water level through the LED backlight liquid level window to ensure that the liquid level is between the upper and lower limits. Low liquid level can cause dry burning and damage to the electrolytic cell, while high liquid level may overflow and corrode the equipment.
-Water quality requirements: Secondary distilled water or deionized water must be used, and tap water or mineral containing water is strictly prohibited to prevent calcium and magnesium ions from depositing and blocking the electrolysis channel.
-Environmental conditions: The equipment should be placed in a well ventilated area, away from heat sources, without direct sunlight, dust, and corrosive gases. The ambient temperature should be controlled between 0 ℃ and 40 ℃, and the relative humidity should be ≤ 85%.
2. Startup and operation
-Self check process: After connecting the power, observe the flow rate display (usually 300ml/min), and wait for the pressure to rise to the set value (such as 0.4MPa) before the flow rate returns to zero, indicating that the self check is qualified.
-Online use: After passing the self-test, turn off the power and remove the output sealing cap. Connect the gas equipment with a dedicated pipeline (such as a 3mm fluoroplastic pipe) and restart until the pressure stabilizes before use.
-Flow matching: During operation, it is necessary to ensure that the flow display is consistent with the requirements of the gas equipment. If the flow rate is abnormally high, immediately stop the machine and use soap solution to check for leaks at the connection points or equipment.
3. Shutdown and shutdown
-Normal shutdown: Follow the program to turn off the power and disconnect the power cord.
-Long term shutdown: If it exceeds 7 days, the air pressure in the circuit should be drained, the liquid in the electrolytic cell should be emptied, and the air circuit should be blown with dry air to prevent component corrosion. Before reactivation, check if the sealing ring is aging.
2、 Key points of daily maintenance
1. Electrolyte management
-Regularly replenish water: When the electrolyte decreases, promptly replenish secondary distilled water, and the liquid level should not exceed the upper limit or fall below the lower limit.
-Replacement cycle: It is recommended to replace the electrolyte every 3-6 months (adjusted according to the frequency of use), as the accumulation of electrolyte impurities after long-term use can lead to a decrease in efficiency.
-Cleaning steps: When replacing, first empty the old solution, rinse the storage tank with distilled water 2-3 times, and then inject a new electrolyte solution (such as 15% KOH solution).
2. Maintenance of drying system
-Color changing silicone inspection: When the 2/3 area of the silicone inside the drying tube turns red, it needs to be replaced. When replacing, turn off the power and exhaust air path, unscrew the drying tube counterclockwise, replace it with new silicone, and then reinstall and tighten it.
-Regeneration treatment: Invalid silicone gel can be dried in an oven at 120 ℃ -140 ℃ until it turns blue, and then sealed and stored for future use after cooling.
3. Gas path and pressure control
-Monthly liquid discharge: Check if there is any liquid accumulation in the liquid barrier. If water is found in the gas path, unscrew the liquid discharge valve to discharge the liquid. If necessary, blow with dry nitrogen gas.
-Barrier film inspection: If the humidity of the gas increases, it may indicate that the barrier film is damaged and needs to be replaced immediately.
-Pressure calibration: Use a standard pressure gauge to calibrate the pressure switch every quarter, and the action value should be within the range of 0.4 ± 0.02MPa. If the deviation exceeds 0.05MPa, contact the manufacturer for adjustment.
4. Heat dissipation and ventilation
-Cooling fan inspection: If the shell temperature exceeds 50 ℃ during full load operation, the fan should be checked for normal operation to ensure that the electrolysis temperature is ≤ 60 ℃.
-Ventilation requirements:Intelligent hydrogen generatorIt is prohibited to pile up debris around, maintain good ventilation, and prevent the risk of explosion caused by hydrogen accumulation.

3、 Safety precautions
1. Fire and explosion prevention
-It is strictly prohibited to use open flames or smoke near the equipment. The laboratory must be equipped with fire-fighting equipment and regularly inspected.
-Immediately shut down the equipment, cut off the power, turn on the ventilation equipment to reduce the concentration, and notify professional personnel to handle the hydrogen leak.
2. Electrical safety
-No no-load operation is allowed (when the pressure is "0"), otherwise it will burn out the electrolytic cell and power components.
-Regularly check whether the circuit is normal, whether the wires are damaged, and whether the electrical components are heating up.
3. Personal protection
-Wear protective goggles, alkali resistant gloves, and lab clothes when replacing electrolyte or dealing with leaks, and keep clean water in the work area for emergency flushing.
-If accidentally in contact with electrolyte, immediately rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
4、 Troubleshooting Guide
| Fault phenomenon | Possible reasons | treatment method |
| The traffic display is abnormally high | Air leakage in the circuit | Stop the machine and use soap solution for leak detection, with a focus on inspecting pipeline joints, valves, and seals. After repair, restart the machine. |
| The pressure cannot rise | Decreased electrolysis efficiency and blocked gas path | Check whether there is any liquid residue or impurity accumulation in the purification tube and liquid barrier, clean and calibrate the pressure switch. |
| Insufficient purity of hydrogen gas | Desiccant failure, excessive electrolyte impurities | Replace the color changing silicone gel and regularly change the electrolyte (every3-6 months). |
| Overheating of electrolytic cell | Lack of liquid, dry burning, poor heat dissipation | Immediately replenish water to the upper limit of the liquid level, check if the cooling fan is running properly, and ensure the electrolysis temperature≤60℃。 |
| Equipment alarm (liquid level)/Leakage) | Low liquid level, hydrogen leakage | Add water to the normal range, stop the machine for leak detection and repair the leak point. After confirming safety, reset the alarm. |
