Digital puncture strength testerIt is a professional equipment used to determine the puncture resistance of materials such as cardboard and corrugated cardboard. The core principle is:
Energy conversion: By releasing potential energy through a pendulum, the conical piercing head is driven to penetrate the sample;
Data collection: Utilizing high-precision force sensors and displacement sensors to monitor the energy changes during the puncture process in real time;
Intelligent computing: The built-in microprocessor automatically calculates the puncture strength (in joules, J) based on sensor data and displays it directly on the digital screen.
Digital puncture strength testerOperation process and precautions:
Standard operating procedures
Sample preparation: Cut a 175 × 175mm square sample and pre treat it for 24 hours in an environment of (23 ± 1) ℃ and (50 ± 2)% RH;
Instrument calibration: Check the zero position of the pendulum and adjust it to the appropriate gear (if the test value is within the measurement range of 20% -80%);
Fixed sample: Place the sample flat in the fixture, ensuring no wrinkles or movement;
Start test: Press the "Start" button, release the pendulum and puncture the sample;
Data recording: Read values from the screen, save or print test reports.
Key precautions
Environmental control: Avoid testing in high temperature, high humidity, or vibration environments;
Maintenance: Regularly clean the fixture, check the friction and air resistance of the pendulum shaft (>120 swings required);
Safe operation: It is strictly prohibited to collide and puncture the head. When not in use, lock the swing arm to prevent accidental detachment.
