Key points for daily maintenance of fully automatic pressure testing machine: the key to extending the service life of the equipment
Date: 2025-10-29Read: 0
In the field of material mechanics performance testing, fully automatic pressure testing machines are important equipment. It is widely used in the construction industry, research institutes, and manufacturing enterprises to determine the compressive strength and deformation characteristics of materials such as cement, concrete, and metal. However, to ensure its long-term stable operation and maintain high-precision measurement capabilities, daily maintenance is crucial. This article will provide a detailed introduction to the key maintenance points of the fully automatic pressure testing machine, helping users effectively extend equipment life and reduce failure rates.
1、 Appearance cleaning and rust prevention treatment
Fully automatic pressure testing machineAfter each experiment, the surface of the equipment should be promptly cleaned of dust, oil stains, and debris residue. Wipe the outer shell and workbench with a soft dry cloth. For stubborn stains, dilute with a neutral cleaner and gently scrub. Pay special attention to the area around the hydraulic cylinder, which is prone to accumulate oil sludge and needs to be cleaned thoroughly. All metal parts should be regularly coated with rust proof grease, especially exposed moving parts such as screws and guide columns, to prevent corrosion from affecting accuracy. It is recommended to conduct a comprehensive cleaning once a month and check for paint peeling, and promptly touch up the paint to enhance corrosion resistance.
2、 Lubrication and maintenance of transmission system
The mechanical transmission part of the equipment includes components such as screw pairs, guide rails, sliders, and chains, which require good lubrication to ensure smooth operation. According to the manufacturer's recommendation, select appropriate grade lithium grease or hydraulic oil for regular refueling. Generally, the protective cover is opened every quarter to replenish new oil to each lubrication point and remove impurities from the old oil. Be careful not to over lubricate to prevent leakage and contamination of the sample, and also to avoid mixing different types of lubricants that may cause chemical reactions. Regularly check the tension of the transmission belt. If it is too loose, it will cause slipping and torque loss, while if it is too tight, it will increase the risk of wear. Adjust it to the optimal state in a timely manner.
3、 Hydraulic system inspection and filter replacement
As a power source, the health status of a hydraulic pump station directly affects the overall performance of the machine. Observe the oil tank level gauge before starting up daily to ensure that the hydraulic oil is sufficient and there are no signs of emulsification or deterioration. Regularly replace the fine filter element according to the instructions, usually every six months. If the working environment is poor, the cycle should be shortened. When cleaning the oil suction filter, an increase in metal powder may indicate increased internal wear, and further investigation is needed to determine the cause. Clean the hydraulic pipeline system at least once a year, replace aging sealing rings, and prevent pressure instability caused by leaks.
4、 Sensor calibration and verification
The accuracy of force sensors and displacement sensors determines the reliability of test data. It is recommended to calibrate the load unit with standard weights every week to correct display errors; Every month, the displacement accuracy of the crossbeam is checked using a micrometer to ensure compliance with the specifications. When replacing a new sensor or undergoing major repairs, the calibration curve must be re established. In addition, the wiring terminals on the electronic component board are prone to moisture and oxidation. Before the rainy season every year, use alcohol cotton balls to wipe the contact points to ensure good conductivity.
5、 Testing of safety protection devices
The safety light curtain, emergency stop button, and limit switch form multiple protection mechanisms that must ensure their normal and effective functioning. Manually trigger each safety device every week to verify whether the response speed is sensitive and reliable. Check if the interlocking mechanism of the protective door is in place to ensure that the machine can only be started when it is closed. The insulation resistance of electrical circuits should be tested once a year to eliminate potential leakage hazards. All warning signs should be kept clear and visible, and any damages should be promptly updated and replaced.
6、 Software system backup and update
The control system software records important parameter settings and test procedures, and regular backup habits should be developed. When encountering an operating system upgrade, pay attention to compatibility issues to avoid program crashes caused by conflicts between old and new versions. Regularly clean the dust inside the computer to prevent overheating and system crashes caused by poor fan cooling. For newly added functional modules, it is necessary to simulate and confirm their correctness before putting them into use to prevent equipment damage caused by misoperation.
In short, the daily maintenance of a fully automatic pressure testing machine is a systematic project that involves multiple aspects such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, etc. Only by implementing every detail can we truly prevent problems and ensure the long-term stable and efficient operation of equipment. Enterprises should cultivate a professional maintenance team, develop standardized operating procedures, and ensure that each equipment can achieve maximum efficiency. Through scientific management and maintenance, we can not only extend the service life of equipment, but also improve production efficiency and product quality, creating greater value for the enterprise.
