How to use acupuncture training leg model to detect acupuncture effect
Date: 2025-08-19Read: 3
Acupuncture training leg model modelSimulate the structure of adult legs, including bones such as femur, tibia, patella, fibula, ankle joint, etc. The skin is made of high fidelity silicone or polymer materials, with a soft touch and realistic texture. It is mainly used in traditional Chinese medicine colleges and training institutions:
Acupoint positioning teaching and acupuncture technique demonstration;
Students engage in independent practice and skill assessment;
Standardized acupuncture and moxibustion manipulation ability assessment.
Function and Technical Parameters:
1. Simulate an adult's leg.
2. The outer skin of the legs is made of highly realistic materials, with skin texture that feels soft and realistic to the touch.
3. Anatomical structures include ulna, radius, olecranon, etc.
4. It is possible to locate commonly used acupoints in the upper limbs (42-54 points) and five acupoints in the lower limbs, and to teach, practice, and assess acupuncture.
5. Multiple acupuncture methods can be trained, and the needle feel is more realistic.
6. Hidden marking methods are used for each acupoint, and selected acupoints with visible markings can be selected during training or assessment as needed. The positioning and needling of acupoints can also be detected.
Acupuncture tactile simulation and feedback system:
The model material (such as high fidelity silicone) simulates real skin and soft tissue, and can reproduce the "breakthrough feeling" (smooth, sharp, and smooth changes during skin penetration) and the "breath feeling" (tightness) when needling, helping users judge whether the needle depth is appropriate through touch.
Some intelligent models are equipped with real-time feedback function: after connecting to a tablet, it automatically monitors the depth and angle of needle insertion, triggers voice prompts in case of errors (such as too shallow or offset), and directly outputs the acupuncture effect score.
Repeated puncture verification and structural observation:
The model supports repeated punctures at a single acupoint (up to 2000 times or more), and indirectly evaluates the strength and stability of the needling technique (such as whether the lifting and twisting are standardized) by observing the residual needle holes and material resilience.
By combining anatomical structures (such as the position of the femur and tibia), it is possible to check whether the needle puncture avoids the bone area and avoids the risk of accidental injury in simulated clinical operations. ‌
