Date: 2025-12-16Read: 0
Multi functional airway management modelFunctional features:
Anatomical features of the head and neck region
Simulating the airway allows for insertion and composite intubation
Provide operational exercises for clearing airway blockages and suctioning liquid foreign objects
Tracheal, pharyngeal, and esophageal intubation can be performed through the mouth or nose
Can perform oral, oropharyngeal, and nasopharyngeal suction
Can perform airway opening exercises and breathing exercises between the rehabilitation ball and mask, as well as between the rehabilitation ball and intubation
Enhance the realism of practice scenarios
Touchable simulated carotid pulsation
The operation method of the multifunctional airway management model mainly includes the following steps:
Preparation stage: Check the integrity of the model and prepare equipment such as laryngoscope, tracheal tube, lubricant, etc.
Open the airway: Use the head lifting chin technique to make the mouth, pharynx, and throat straight, ensuring that the airway is open.
Insert the airway tube: Select a suitable size of oropharyngeal airway tube, insert it with the concave surface facing upwards, and then rotate it 180 degrees to fix it.
Mask ventilation: Use the "E-C" technique to fix the mask, assist with ventilation twice, and observe chest movements.
Tracheal intubation: After exposing the glottis with a laryngoscope, insert the catheter along the lens, confirm the position, and fix it.
Puncture of the cricothyroid membrane: In emergency situations, a puncture can be performed at the location of the cricothyroid membrane to establish an airway.
The multifunctional airway management model for cleaning needs to follow the following steps:
Pre treatment: Immediately rinse the surface secretions with running water after use to avoid dry phlegm accumulation.
Disassembly and cleaning: Completely disassemble the detachable components (such as tracheal tubes and humidification tanks) and use a soft brush to remove dirt from the inner walls.
Disinfection soaking: Soak in high-level disinfectants (such as peracetic acid) for 30 minutes. Special infections such as tuberculosis require separate treatment.
Final rinse: Thoroughly rinse the disinfectant residue with sterile distilled water.
Dry storage: After drying in a cool place, seal and store for no more than one week.
