Ultrasonic immersion C-scan microscope uses high-frequency ultrasound as the detection medium and achieves internal defect detection of materials through water immersion coupling.
Using high-frequency ultrasonic waves above 5MHz, the electrical signal is converted into ultrasonic waves through a piezoelectric ceramic sensor, and then focused by an acoustic lens to act on the measured sample. When ultrasonic waves propagate in materials, they will generate reflected waves when encountering different media interfaces (such as defects, different tissue structures). These reflected waves are received by the transducer and converted into electrical signals, which are analyzed by the processor to generate three-dimensional acoustic images.
Ultrasonic immersion C-scan microscope (also known as immersion ultrasonic scanning microscope) achieves non-destructive testing based on the propagation characteristics of high-frequency ultrasonic waves in materials. The core principle is:
Ultrasonic propagation and reflection: When the ultrasonic beam passes through a permeable medium and enters the tested material, it encounters defects (such as cracks, pores, delamination) or material interfaces, and reflection occurs. The reflected wave carries defect information back to the probe.
Imaging technology: By collecting reflected wave signals, the system generates pulse waveforms and converts them into two-dimensional or three-dimensional images, accurately displaying the location, size, and shape of defects.
Advantages of water immersion coupling: Water serves as the ultrasonic propagation medium, avoiding interference from solid interface reflection and providing a uniform sound field, thereby improving detection stability.
Detection Mode
Reflective detection: Ultrasonic waves are directly reflected back to the transducer, suitable for surface and near surface defect detection.
Transmission detection: Ultrasonic waves penetrate the sample and detect internal defects by analyzing the attenuation and phase changes of the transmitted waves.
Convenience of operation:
Automation level: Supporting batch scanning, path planning, and report generation functions can improve efficiency.
Software interface: The intuitive operation interface and data analysis tools lower the threshold for use.
