Maintenance regulations for explosion-proof double cylinder cabinets with alarms
Date: 2025-09-22Read: 0
1、 Daily inspection and cleaning
Appearance inspection:
Check the appearance of the gas cylinder cabinet daily for any damage, deformation, or corrosion, especially on the cabinet doors, locks, and ventilation holes.
Check if the cylinder fixing device is secure and if there is a risk of tipping or rolling the cylinder.
Cleaning and maintenance:
Regularly clean the surface of the gas cylinder cabinet to remove dust, oil stains, and other debris. Use a clean damp cloth to wipe the surface of the cabinet, avoiding the use of highly corrosive cleaning agents.
Clean the sensor air inlet to prevent dust or dirt from clogging and affecting detection accuracy.
2、 Maintenance of alarm system
Alarm function test:
Perform a functional test on the alarm once a week, using a lighter to release gas near the intake port in a non ignition manner for a few seconds. The alarm should respond and sound an audible and visual alarm, otherwise it is considered abnormal and requires professional inspection and maintenance.
Attention: During testing, do not spray a large amount of high concentration gas directly onto the sensor inside the alarm to avoid burning out the sensor.
Alarm calibration and replacement:
Regularly calibrate the sensors of the alarm to ensure their detection accuracy and reliability. According to the manufacturer's requirements, calibrate the sensor using standard gases.
If any alarm malfunction or sensor aging is found, the alarm or sensor should be replaced in a timely manner to ensure the normal operation of the alarm system.
3、 Ventilation system maintenance
Ventilation hole inspection:
Regularly check if the ventilation holes are unobstructed and if there are any blockages or damages. If any problems are found, clean or replace the ventilation device in a timely manner to ensure good ventilation inside the cabinet.
Exhaust system operation:
Ensure the normal operation of the exhaust system, regularly start the exhaust system, and eliminate any gas that may accumulate inside the cabinet.
Check if the exhaust duct is tightly connected and if there is any air leakage. If any problems are found, repair or replace the exhaust duct in a timely manner.
4、 Inspection of gas cylinders and connecting pipelines
Gas cylinder inspection:
Regularly inspect the appearance, valves, safety accessories, etc. of gas cylinders to ensure compliance with safety requirements. For expired or unqualified gas cylinders, they should be promptly submitted to a professional department for inspection or disposal.
Check if the gas cylinder label is clear, indicating the gas name, purity, filling date, expiration date, and other information for easy identification and use.
Inspection of connecting pipelines:
Regularly check whether there is any gas leakage in the gas cylinder and connecting pipeline. You can use soap water or specialized gas detection tools for inspection.
If a leak is found, immediately stop using and take corresponding measures to deal with it, such as closing valves, ventilating, etc.
5、 Other maintenance matters
Filter element and dust collector replacement:
According to usage, regularly replace the filter element and dust collector of the gas cylinder cabinet to ensure clean air inside the cabinet.
Static grounding inspection:
Check if the static grounding conductor of the gas cylinder cabinet is well connected to ensure timely dissipation of static electricity accumulated in the cabinet.
Environmental temperature and humidity control:
Maintain the temperature and humidity of the surrounding environment of the gas cylinder cabinet within an appropriate range to avoid excessive or insufficient temperature and humidity affecting the gas cylinder and cabinet. In general, the temperature should be controlled between 15-25 ℃, and the relative humidity should be controlled between 40% -60%.
