Vertical vacuum drying oven is a device that uses a vacuum environment and inert gas to quickly dry heat sensitive, easily decomposed, and easily oxidized substances.
The vertical vacuum drying oven reduces the air pressure inside the oven to lower the boiling point of the material solution, thereby achieving effective dehydration at low temperatures while avoiding oxidation reactions. Its core components include steel plate shell, carbon steel or stainless steel working chamber, mica heater, and intelligent temperature control system. Insulation cotton is filled between the studio and the shell, and the box door is sealed with silicone rubber and equipped with an observation window. During operation, the solenoid valve controls the vacuuming and inflation process, while the P.I.D intelligent temperature control system adjusts the temperature in real-time. The over temperature protection circuit can cut off heating in case of abnormal temperature, ensuring safe operation.
structural characteristics
Shell and Studio: The shell is usually made by stamping, folding, and welding steel plates, and the surface is treated with high-strength electrostatic spray coating, resulting in a smooth and firm paint film. The studio is made of carbon steel plates or stainless steel plates that are folded and welded together, and there are test sample shelves inside for placing various test items.
Sealing and observation: The door seal is sealed with silicone rubber strips to ensure the vacuum inside the box. There are observation mirrors on the door for clearer and safer observation.
Heating and temperature control: Mica heaters are installed around the outer wall of the studio to provide uniform heating effect. The intelligent temperature control system adopts P.I.D technology, which ensures accurate and reliable temperature control. Some models also have timing and over temperature protection functions.
Key points of daily maintenance
Cleaning and maintenance: After each use, wipe the inner liner with anhydrous ethanol (to avoid residual corrosion of materials), and apply silicone oil to the seals (to extend their service life);
Clean the vacuum pump oil every month (if it is an oil type vacuum pump), replenish it in a timely manner when the oil level is below the scale line, and replace it when the oil color turns black;
Vacuum system maintenance: Check whether the vacuum pipeline leaks (apply soapy water to the interface, bubble and leak, replace the sealing ring or tighten the joint);
Regularly clean the vacuum filter (to prevent dust blockage and affect the pumping rate);
Security check: Weekly testing of over temperature protection function (set temperature lower than actual temperature control, observe whether it automatically shuts off);
Explosion proof models require regular inspection of the sealing of explosion-proof motors and vacuum gauges to avoid leakage of flammable and explosive gases.
