Product installation and maintenance:
1. Handwheels, handles, and transmission mechanisms are not allowed to be used for lifting and collisions are strictly prohibited.
2. Double gate valves should be installed vertically (i.e. with the valve stem in a vertical position and the handwheel at the top).
3. Before opening a gate valve with a bypass valve, the bypass valve should be opened first (to balance the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet and reduce the opening force).
4. Install the gate valve with transmission mechanism according to the instructions in the product manual.
5. If the valve is frequently opened and closed, lubricate it at least once a month.
Pre installation inspection:
Check if the connecting screws between the vertical frame, horizontal frame, and gate are loose, and if the joints are misaligned. Adjust them to the same plane.
Use a feeler gauge to check the gap between the gate and the gate groove, ensuring it is not greater than 0.08mm. If it exceeds the standard, adjust the closing device or insert an inclined iron for adjustment.
Check if the valve stem is vertical and if the gate is flexible and unobstructed.
Installation process:
Vertically insert the reserved groove as a whole, place adjustment pads under the frame (it is strictly prohibited to place crossbeams under the frame), use a hoist to diagonally pull and stabilize, straighten and level it, and then string in the anchor bolts.
Ensure that the center of the hoist is perpendicular to the valve stem, with a vertical deviation of less than 1/1000.
When pouring the second phase concrete, it is necessary to strictly prevent the mortar from flowing into the gaps between the gate, gate frame, and inclined iron, as it may affect the opening and closing after solidification.
Post installation processing:
Remove all reinforcing materials. The pressure iron used to press the gate plate when leaving the factory (there are 4-6 gates above 2m) needs to be removed after adjusting the gap, otherwise it cannot be opened and closed.
Manually operate the opening and closing device and check whether the door body can be lifted and lowered flexibly without any obstruction.
