Standard Operation
Preparation before use: Check the appearance of the incubator to ensure there is no damage. Wipe and disinfect the inner walls, shelves, etc. with 75% alcohol. Inject an appropriate amount of sterile distilled water into the water tank to ensure humidity. Set parameters such as temperature (usually 37 ℃) and carbon dioxide concentration (commonly 5%).
Item placement: Place sterilized culture dishes, cell bottles, etc. into the incubator, leaving a certain gap to ensure air circulation. Be careful not to block the air inlet and outlet.
Operation monitoring: After opening the incubator, closely observe the operation status. Regularly check the temperature and carbon dioxide concentration display values to ensure they fluctuate within the set range. If there is an abnormal alarm, promptly investigate the cause.
Post use processing: After the experiment is completed, remove all items. Close the carbon dioxide inlet valve and wait for the carbon dioxide inside the box to be completely discharged before turning off the power.
routine maintenance
Cleaning: Clean the inner walls and shelves of the incubator thoroughly with 75% alcohol every week to prevent microbial growth. Perform a deep cleaning once a month, remove removable components such as shelves, water trays, etc., clean with neutral detergent, rinse with distilled water, and air dry.
Inspection: Check the water level in the water tank daily and add sterile distilled water promptly if it is insufficient. Regularly check the carbon dioxide filter and replace it according to usage, usually every 6-12 months.
Calibration: Calibrate the temperature and carbon dioxide concentration sensors of the incubator every 3-6 months to ensure accurate measurements. Professional personnel can be contacted or standard calibration equipment can be used for operation.
