Oscillatory constant temperature metal bath is an experimental instrument that combines heating, constant temperature, and oscillation functions. It is mainly used to accelerate sample mixing, catalyze reactions, and maintain stable experimental conditions. It is widely used in fields such as biology and chemistry.
By conducting heat through metal modules and synchronously providing oscillation function, temperature controlled mixing or reaction acceleration can be achieved. For example, in molecular biology experiments, shaking can promote DNA denaturation (shaking at 95 ℃ for 5 minutes), hybridization reactions (shaking at 60 ℃ for 2 hours), and other operations.
Constant temperature control: Heat is transferred through a thermal conductive medium (such as water, glycerin, or specialized heat transfer fluid) inside a metal bath (usually made of stainless steel or aluminum).
Heating elements (such as electric heating wires or electric heating plates) generate heat, and temperature sensors monitor the temperature of the medium in real time. The heating power is adjusted by the control system to achieve accurate temperature control (usually with an error of ≤± 1 ℃).
Some models support cooling function and can achieve wide temperature range control from -10 ℃ to 100 ℃.
Oscillatory stirring: The oscillator (consisting of a motor, reducer, and controller) drives the liquid or sample tube in the bath to vibrate regularly (with adjustable frequency, usually 100-1500 rpm).
The oscillation modes include continuous oscillation and timed oscillation, ensuring uniform mixing of the sample, avoiding temperature gradients, and improving reaction efficiency.
