Melamine: English name "melamine", abbreviated as triamine, scientific name triaminotriazine, also known as melamine, cyanuric acid amide, trimeric amide. Molecular formula: C3N6H6, C3N3 (NH2) 3; Molecular weight: 126.12 Physical properties: White crystalline powder, non-toxic, odorless; Relative density: 1570kg/m ³; Melting point: Under normal pressure, it decomposes at 354 ℃; Sublimation temperature: 300 ℃; Solubility: soluble in methanol, formaldehyde, acetic acid, hot ethylene glycol, glycerol, pyridine; Slightly soluble in water and ethanol; Insoluble in ether, benzene, and carbon tetrachloride, the aqueous solution is weakly alkaline. Melamine has three homologues, namely cyanuric acid, ammelide, and ammeline.
