Usage:

1. Inspection and cleaning:

Before use, check whether the volumetric flask is intact, without cracks or deformations.

Rinse three times with distilled or deionized water to remove dust or impurities. If high-precision experiments are required, soaking in chromic acid solution and rinsing can be used.

2. Solution transfer: Transfer the weighed solute to a small beaker, dissolve it in a small amount of solvent, and drain it into a volumetric flask through a glass rod.

Avoid pouring solutes directly into volumetric flasks to prevent solute from adhering to the bottle mouth or inner wall, resulting in uneven concentration.

3. Constant volume operation: Initially add solvent to 1-2cm below the scale line of the volumetric flask, then use a dropper with a rubber head to add dropwise until the liquid level * low point is tangent to the marking line. When setting the volume, the line of sight should be level with the marking to avoid volume errors caused by looking down or up.

4. Mix the solution: Cover the bottle with a stopper and invert the volumetric flask several times to ensure thorough mixing of the solution. If the solution has stratification or precipitation, it needs to be allowed to stand and mixed again.
