The online total phosphorus analyzer supports remote data transmission and monitoring
Date: 2025-06-12Read: 2
Online total phosphorus analyzer is an automated instrument used for water quality monitoring, widely used in fields such as environmental monitoring, industrial wastewater treatment, and water pollution prevention and control. Its main function is to detect the total phosphorus concentration in water in real-time and online, thereby helping relevant departments understand the water quality situation and take corresponding treatment measures.

  Online total phosphorus analyzerWorking principle:
1. Sample pretreatment:
There is usually an automatic sampling system that extracts a certain amount of sample from the water body. These samples will undergo pre-treatment steps such as filtration, acidification, and heating to remove substances that may affect the measurement results, such as suspended solids and organic matter.
2. Chemical reaction:
After sample pretreatment, the instrument will add a certain amount of chemical reagents to cause the total phosphorus in the water to react with the reagents, generating colored compounds. Common chemical reactions include the reaction of total phosphorus with ammonium molybdate reagent to form a molybdenum blue color complex.
3. Luminescence measurement:
The reacted sample will be measured using a photometer. The photometer calculates the concentration of total phosphorus based on the color intensity of the sample, usually using colorimetric or photometric methods for analysis. The built-in light source of the instrument passes through the water sample, and after the sample absorbs light, the detector measures the absorption value of the light and calculates the total phosphorus concentration according to Beer Lambert law.
4. Automatic calibration and data processing:
It usually has an automatic calibration function. Calibrate with a pre-set standard solution to ensure the accuracy of the test results. After data collection, the instrument will process and display the total phosphorus concentration in real time, and transmit the data to the control center or monitoring platform through a communication interface.
Application fields:
1. Water quality monitoring:
Widely used for water quality monitoring in urban water bodies, rivers, lakes, reservoirs, and other areas. By real-time detection of total phosphorus concentration, timely monitoring of water quality changes and assessment of eutrophication risks in water bodies.
2. Sewage treatment:
In sewage treatment plants, it can be used to monitor the phosphorus content of discharged water to ensure compliance with national discharge standards. Meanwhile, in the process of wastewater treatment, instruments can help adjust the dosage, optimize the treatment process, and ensure that the water quality meets the standards.
3. Agricultural irrigation:
It also has important applications in agricultural irrigation. The total phosphorus concentration in water sources has a significant impact on agricultural irrigation water quality, and excessive phosphorus concentration may cause pollution to soil and crops. Through online monitoring, agricultural producers can ensure the safety of water quality.
4. Industrial wastewater discharge:
It is widely used in the monitoring of wastewater discharge in industrial fields, especially in chemical, metallurgical and other industries. It helps businesses comply with environmental regulations and reduce pollution of water bodies.
Advantages of online total phosphorus analyzer:
1. Real time monitoring: It can provide real-time and continuous monitoring data, quickly respond to changes in water quality, and ensure timely response to water pollution.
2. High degree of automation: automatic sampling, preprocessing, measurement, data transmission and other processes can be completed automatically, greatly improving monitoring efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
3. Data accuracy: High precision measurement and automatic calibration functions can ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
4. Remote monitoring: Supports remote data transmission and monitoring, allowing management personnel to access water quality information anytime and anywhere.
