Turbidity online detector is a device specifically designed for water quality monitoring, which can detect the real-time content of turbid substances in water bodies. Turbidity is one of the important indicators of water quality, reflecting the concentration of suspended particulate matter in water. It is commonly used in fields such as water treatment, environmental protection, and industrial production. By continuously monitoring changes in turbidity of water bodies, abnormal water quality can be alerted in a timely manner, providing data support for the water treatment process and ensuring that water quality meets predetermined standards.

Turbidity online detectorThe basic working process:
1. Light source emission: The light source part of the turbidity detector usually uses visible light or near-infrared light source. The light beam emitted by the light source enters the water sample through the sensor.
2. Beam scattering: When a beam of light passes through a body of water, suspended particulate matter in the water (such as sediment, algae, etc.) will scatter the beam. The more particles there are, the greater the scattering angle of the beam, and the intensity of the scattered light also increases accordingly.
3. Light reception: Scattered light is received by the receiver of the instrument, which calculates the concentration of turbid substances in the water based on the intensity of the scattered light.
4. Data processing: The receiver converts the detected scattered light signal into an electrical signal and transmits it to the control system. The control system calculates the turbidity value of the water sample based on preset standards, usually measured in NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units).
5. Real time monitoring: Through online monitoring, the turbidity changes of the water body can be continuously and real-time displayed. Some instruments also have data storage and alarm functions, which can record historical data and issue warnings when water quality is abnormal.
Components of turbidity online detector:
1. Light source part: The light source usually uses high-efficiency light sources such as LED and laser to ensure stable and accurate light, and avoid the influence of light source aging on measurement results.
2. Sensor: The sensor is the core part of the turbidity detector, responsible for receiving the scattered light emitted by the light source on the water sample. Sensors typically have high sensitivity and can sense small changes in light intensity.
3. Control system: The control system is responsible for receiving and processing signals from sensors. The control system usually includes a display module, an alarm module, and a data storage module, which can display turbidity values in real time and perform data analysis.
4. Display screen and operation interface: Equipped with touch screen or digital display interface, it is convenient for operators to view real-time data and make relevant settings, such as regular calibration, parameter adjustment, etc.
5. Alarm module: This module is used to promptly issue alarm signals when water quality abnormalities occur. The alarm signal can be sent to the external control system through sound, flashing lights, or through a data interface.
6. Power and communication modules: Most of them are equipped with batteries or external power sources, and provide communication interfaces such as RS485, Modbus, etc. for remote monitoring and data transmission.
