Brief Introduction

Application scope of ultrasonic tomography:

The A1040 MIRA 3D ultrasonic tomography scanner is an excellent solution for ultrasonic testing of highly scattering materials, such as concrete and reinforced concrete, stone, rock, composite materials, ceramics, wood, epoxy resin, and refractory materials. Among them, as an application field of the instrument, the following main applications can be mentioned: positioning of steel bars and other components (tendon tubes, anchors, hollow tubes, cables, hollow tubes), as well as detecting material voids outside the steel bar layer, estimating their positions and sizes in 3D: measuring the thickness of voids, inclusions, honeycombs, and cracks through one-sided access to detect grouting defects in tendon tubes and grouting joints, and evaluating fireproof stones.

Functional features:

Real time 3D imaging;

A-DPC sensor:

-Matrix active dry point contact (A-DPC) sensor;

-Unparalleled penetration depth, up to 3m at its maximum;

-Innovative low-noise sensor technology improves sensitivity and sensitivity

INTROVIEW PRO software:

-Provide multifunctional 2D and 3D imaging modes;

-Remote unit control via tablet or laptop;

Modular design:

-Two combined antenna units increase detection depth and sensitivity;

-Complete 3D image capture improves near-field sensitivity

By using special transmission techniques such as enhanced burst energy, combined with 8 x 8 individually driven A-DPC probes, excellent penetration depth has been achieved. In order to further expand the inspection range, any aperture expansion can be used by two or more array units in a configuration (diverse combination methods: 4 × 8, 4 × 16, 8 × 8 combination methods can be implemented).
