Why use a concrete 3D ultrasonic imaging device?
Date: 2025-10-17Read: 1
Concrete 3D ultrasonic imaging deviceUsually based on the theory of ultrasonic waves, ultrasonic waves are emitted into concrete through an array type ultrasonic probe. When the ultrasonic waves propagate inside the concrete, they encounter defects or different media interfaces and undergo phenomena such as reflection, refraction, and scattering. The receiving probe collects these returned ultrasonic signals, and then presents the information inside the concrete in the form of three-dimensional images through signal processing and imaging algorithms.

Concrete 3D ultrasonic imaging deviceAdvantages:

1. It can visually present defects such as cracks, honeycombs, and voids inside concrete, providing more detailed structural information than two-dimensional images, allowing inspectors to clearly see the location, direction, and depth of defects, avoiding misjudgments caused by viewing angle limitations.

2. Can detect concrete components with a thickness of several meters, suitable for large-scale structural inspection. At the same time, there is no need for double-sided contact, only single-sided contact with the surface of the component is required to complete the detection, which is suitable for structures that are difficult to reach or have already been put into use.

3. By using high-resolution ultrasonic sensors, tiny open cracks can be detected, even cracks with a width of only a few millimeters can be clearly identified, providing more detailed information for the evaluation of engineering quality.

4. By adopting advanced signal processing techniques, ultrasonic signals can be quickly collected and analyzed, greatly reducing detection time. Compared with traditional detection methods, it can complete the detection of large-area concrete structures in a shorter time, improve work efficiency, and reduce the impact on engineering construction.

5. It will not cause any pollution or damage to concrete structures, ensuring structural integrity, and is suitable for occasions with high requirements for structural safety.

6. Equipped with a built-in computer, memory, large display, and control buttons, it can independently collect, process, and store data in real-time without the need for an external computer, making it convenient for on-site operations. At the same time, it has powerful data storage and analysis functions, providing scientific basis for crack assessment and subsequent repair work.

7. The supporting software can real-time 3D image the collected data, obtain a three-dimensional panoramic image of the tested structure, and accurately identify defects from multiple angles and layer sections. At the same time, the software provides functions for reading data from the instrument, displaying cross-sectional images, and 3D displays, making it easier to understand the detection results.
