Brief Introduction

日本KEMPortable density meterDA-130NPure water calibration method:

DA-130NLiquid density meterIt is the flagship product developed and promoted by Kyoto Electronics Corporation (KEM) in Japan, with a very high measurement accuracy of up to 0.001g/cubic centimeter and high resolution. With such high measurement accuracy, if the densitometer is not calibrated before measurement, errors can easily occur, resulting in inaccurate measurement results. Therefore, calibration of the densitometer before use is extremely important. Below, we will introduce the method of calibrating the densitometer with pure water.

1. Sample pure water (note that bubbles are strictly prohibited from being mixed into the measurement room)

2. Perform pure water calibration in the measurement room. After continuously pressing the cal key for more than two seconds, CALIB (Water) will be displayed in reverse on the device screen, indicating that pure water calibration is in progress.

3. Calibration operation, fully automatic and stable judgment.

After the calibration is completed, the screen will display the theoretical deviation value, and you can choose whether to complete the calibration task correctly.

When the deviation from the theoretical value is less than ± 0.001g/cubic centimeter, it indicates that the correction has been completed correctly. Select Execute (Yes) and store the deviation value in the instrument.

If the value is greater than ± 0.001g/cubic centimeter, please select (No) to prevent the instrument from updating the deviation value. When there is a significant difference between the theoretical value and its deviation value, it may be due to the presence of foreign objects or dirt in the measurement chamber. Please thoroughly clean and dry the measurement chamber before using pure water again for calibration.
