Determination of 17 Organophosphates in Carrots SNT 0148-2011
Organophosphorus pesticides refer to organic compound pesticides containing phosphorus elements. Mainly used for preventing and controlling plant diseases, insects, and grass damage. Mostly oily liquid with garlic flavor, highly volatile, slightly soluble in water. The vast majority of organic phosphorus pesticides produced in our country are insecticides, such as commonly used parathion, endosulfan, malathion, dimethoate, dichlorvos, etc. In recent years, organic phosphorus pesticides such as fungicides and rodenticides have been synthesized. Its widespread use in agricultural production has led to varying degrees of residue in crops. The harmful effects of organophosphorus pesticides on humans range from highly toxic to low toxic. It can inhibit acetylcholinesterase, accumulate acetylcholine, cause muscarinic symptoms, nicotinic symptoms, and central nervous system symptoms. In severe cases, it can lead to death due to pulmonary edema, cerebral edema, and respiratory paralysis. Severe acute poisoning patients may also experience delayed sudden death. The detection of pesticide residues in food has always been a hot issue, and Anpu Laboratory closely monitors food safety to assist in food testing. This experiment refers to the national standard SN/T 0148-2011 "Detection Method for Organophosphorus Pesticide Residues in Imported and Exported Water, Fruits and Vegetables - Gas Chromatography and Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry". At a spiked level of 1ppm, the operation is simple and the reproducibility is good.
