A weighing sensor is a device that converts a mass signal into a measurable electrical signal output
Date: 2025-05-27Read: 1
A weighing sensor is a device that converts a quality signal into a measurable electrical signal output, widely used in various fields such as electronic scales and industrial control.
When an object is placed on a weighing sensor, the elastic body is subjected to pressure and undergoes deformation, which causes a change in the resistance value inside the strain gauge, thereby generating an electrical signal proportional to the weight. For example, the resistance strain type weighing sensor is mainly composed of an elastic body, resistance strain gauges, and compensation circuits. Elastic bodies are made of alloy steel or aluminum profiles and are load-bearing components; The resistance strain gauges are made of metal foil corroded into a grid shape, and four resistance strain gauges are bonded to an elastic body in a bridge structure. In the absence of force, the resistance values of the four resistors in the bridge are equal, the bridge is in a balanced state, and the output is zero. When the elastic body undergoes deformation under stress, the resistance strain gauge also deforms, causing the bridge to become unbalanced and generating a voltage difference at both ends of the bridge. This voltage difference is proportional to the magnitude of the force acting on the elastic body. By detecting this voltage difference, the magnitude of the gravity acting on the sensor can be obtained.
Its main functions and applications include the following aspects:
Quality control and production efficiency improvement: In the production process of solar panels, high-precision weighing sensors can monitor the weight of raw materials in real time, ensure the accuracy of input materials, prevent waste, and improve production efficiency. By weighing, the actual weight of each solar panel can be detected and compared with the theoretical weight to identify panels with abnormal quality, optimize production processes, and reduce material loss.
Inventory management and logistics optimization: High precision weighing sensors can accurately record the inventory level of solar panels, avoiding human errors and improving the accuracy of inventory management. During transportation, weighing sensors can monitor the weight of the solar panels in real time, ensuring transportation safety, preventing overloading, improving transportation efficiency, and detecting damage or loss during transportation.
Material cost control: By accurately weighing raw materials, waste can be avoided and material costs can be reduced. By analyzing the weighing data of raw materials, it is possible to determine whether the quality of the raw materials meets the standards.
Improve the safety of the production process: Real time monitoring of weight during production and transportation to prevent overloading accidents and ensure safe production.
Data analysis and decision support: Collecting and analyzing a large amount of weighing data can identify anomalies in the production process and take corrective measures in a timely manner. By analyzing the data of weight changes during the operation of the equipment, it is possible to predict equipment failures and achieve preventive maintenance of the equipment.
