Pulse high-voltage spark leak detectorIt is an instrument used to detect the quality of metal corrosion coatings. It applies a certain amount of pulse high voltage to the surface of the conductive substrate anti-corrosion layer. If there is metal leakage or gas leakage pinhole due to the thin anti-corrosion layer, when the pulse high voltage passes through, it forms an air gap breakdown and generates spark discharge. At the same time, it sends a pulse signal to the alarm circuit to make the alarm sound, thus achieving the purpose of detecting the anti-corrosion layer. This instrument can be used for quality inspection of coatings with different thicknesses, such as enamel glass, fiberglass, epoxy coal tar, and rubber lining.

1. Security protection:
Operators need to wear high-voltage insulated gloves, protective goggles and other protective equipment to avoid electric shock.
Do not use around flammable and explosive objects (or gases) to prevent sparks from causing explosions.
Ensure that the surface of the tested object is dry and avoid the influence of conductive layers or clean water on the accuracy of leak point positioning.
2. Operating standards:
Read the operation manual carefully before use and familiarize yourself with the usage method.
Select the appropriate detection voltage based on the material, thickness, and coating type of the object being tested.
During detection, the probe should maintain an appropriate distance from the surface of the object being tested, move slowly, and avoid missed or false detections.
After discovering the leakage point, promptly use a marking pen or other tool to mark the defect location.
3. Instrument maintenance:
Regularly check the battery level of the instrument, charge it promptly in case of undervoltage, and avoid battery damage caused by overdischarging.
When not using the instrument, adjust the voltage adjustment knob to the minimum, turn off the power switch, and disconnect the power and ground connections.
Avoid instrument collisions, high temperatures, humidity, and corrosive gas environments to extend its service life.
