The anti-corrosion layer detector is designed forThe equipment for detecting the quality and thickness of metal surface coatings, among which the leak detector is an electric spark leak detector that detects the presence of small quality problems such as leakage points and pinholes on the surface of the anti-corrosion layer that are not easily detected by the naked eye, and the coating thickness gauge that detects the thickness of the anti-corrosion layer.
Leak detection principle of anti-corrosion layer electric spark detector:
Due to the thin anti-corrosion insulation layer on the metal surface and the low resistance and air gap density at the iron leakage micropores, when the high-voltage probe of the leak detector passes through the pinhole defect, air gap breakdown occurs, generating electric spark discharge. At the same time, a pulse signal is generated for the alarm circuit of the leak detector, driving the sound and light alarm of the leak detector circuit to achieve the purpose of leak detection. Scope of detection: Glass flakesPE、 Insulation layers such as cold wrapping tape, glass fiber cloth, polyurea, enamel glass, fiberglass, epoxy coal tar, and rubber lining.
The detection range and principle of the anti-corrosion layer thickness gauge:
1. Detection range:
Non destructive measurement of magnetic metal substratesThe thickness of non-magnetic coatings (such as zinc, aluminum, chromium, copper, rubber, paint, etc.) on non-magnetic metal substrates (such as steel, iron, alloys, and hard magnetic steel) and the thickness of non-conductive coatings on conductive metal substrates (such as rubber, paint, plastic, anodized film, etc.) on non-magnetic metal substrates (such as copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, etc.).
2. Detection principle:
2.1 Magnetic induction principle
Mainly measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings on magnetic metal substrates. Measure the thickness of the coating by measuring the magnitude of the magnetic flux flowing into the magnetic metal substrate through a non-magnetic coating using a magnetic probe. It can also be used to measure the corresponding magnetic resistance to indicate the thickness of the coating. Because the thicker the coating, the greater the magnetic resistance, and conversely, the magnetic flux will decrease
2.2 Eddy current principle
The principle of using high-frequency AC signals to generate electromagnetic fields in the probe coil. When the probe is close to the conductor, eddy currents are formed. The closer the probe is to the conductive substrate, the larger the eddy currents and the higher the reflection impedance. The farther the probe is from the conductive substrate, the smaller the eddy current and the lower the emission impedance. This indicates the size of the distance between the probe and the substrate. This principle can be used to measure the thickness of non-conductive coatings on conductive substrates. The measuring head of this measurement principle usually uses non-magnetic probes.
At the same time, the anti-corrosion coating thickness gauge has high accuracy, digital display and stable indication, low power consumption, single probe full range measurement, small size, light weight, and features such as storage, readout, statistics, low voltage indication, zero point calibration, two-point calibration, and system calibration.
