Core principle:

Using the cup ball method (instead of the traditional huan ball method), place the sample in a dedicated grease cup and cover it with a standard steel ball. By heating the metal block at a constant temperature, the real-time monitoring of the state change of the sample as the temperature increases. The temperature at which the sample softens to the point where the steel ball falls due to gravity and passes through the bottom hole of the cup is recorded as the softening point, and the temperature at which the sample is dropped several times is recorded as the drop point. The entire process is without water bath medium, avoiding sample contamination and ensuring efficient cleaning.
