Training Invitation | 2021 Emergency Release Size Design (Vent Sizing) Advanced Training
Date: 2021-09-22Read: 0
Main training instructor:George Guo

George X. Guo, PhD – obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University in New York, USA in 1994.We have been committed to professional work in chemical process design and chemical process safety.I have over 30 years of work experience in fine chemicals and have served as the Director of Chemical Process, Process Safety Engineer, and Department Head at the Engineering Technology Headquarters of FMC in the United States for over 20 years. There are rich safety release systems, uncontrolled reaction release systems, two-phase flow release (DIERS), and various fine chemical processes designedTest.Prior to joining FMC, I also worked on the development and application of chemical process design software at Aspen Tech and Chemstations (ChemCAD).

Training background:

According to the original State Administration of Work Safety Document No. 1 "Guidelines for Risk Assessment of Fine Chemical Reactions" and "Guiding Opinions on Further Strengthening Risk Management of Fine Chemical Reactions", if the risk level of reactions is high, relief facilities such as bursting discs and safety valves should be installed. In addition, for some CMO/CDMO enterprises such as pharmaceuticals and pesticides, process safety audit is a very important part when accepting customer supplier audits. Many customers require these enterprises to design the explosion relief plates or safety valves of the reaction kettle reasonably and provide calculation sheets.

This series of requirements requires enterprises to understand or further master the design of the emergency discharge port size of the reaction kettle, in order to ensure the safety production of the enterprise and continuously provide products and services to customers.

FAUSKEIt is the world's leading emergency release design. Since the late 1970s, FAUSKE has been selected by the American Society of Chemical Engineers as a partner for the Emergency Release System Design Committee (DIERS) project. FAUSKE led the DIERS project and designed and developed the VSP2 equipment specifically for emergency release testing.

Suzhou Marico Testing Technology Co., Ltd. (MASRC)Established in January 2015, dedicated to promoting overseasIntroduce security assessment testing technology and concepts into China, and provide advanced security assessment testing and technical consulting services. As a third-party testing service company, MASRC has been providing chemical process safety assessment testing services since 2016, accumulating rich testing experience and successful cases.

MASRC and FAUSKE will202110moon20-21dayOrganize advanced training on emergency venting design to promote the overall improvement of domestic enterprises in the field of emergency venting design.
