Introduction to Army Day

August 1st is Army Day. It originated from the Nanchang Uprising led by the CPC during the period of China's domestic democratic revolution.

The Nanchang Uprising on August 1, 1927 fired the first shot of the CPC's armed resistance against the Kuomintang reactionaries, marking that China has entered a new era in which the CPC independently leads the armed revolution, and marking the birth of China's new type of people's army.

Since the establishment of the armyHaving gone through numerous difficulties and dangers, from small to large, from weak to strong, it has developed into a multi branch military, bravely advancing on the path of elite troops with Chinese characteristics, and becoming the steel Great Wall of China's defense of peace and development.
