When the piston moves up and down, air flows through the small hole to generate damping force, achieving intelligent adjustment of strong damping for large displacement and weak damping for small displacement. This not only ensures fast stability, but also does not affect the isolation effect on small amplitude vibrations. This type of isolator has a damping factor Q ≈ 3 at a displacement level of approximately a few millimeters.
