The fully automatic image measuring instrument is a non-contact precision measuring device based on CCD/CMOS imaging technology, computer image processing technology, and precision motion control technology. It is commonly used to measure the two-dimensional or three-dimensional geometric dimensions and positional tolerances of objects and is widely used in multiple fields such as precision manufacturing.
Key features
Stable body structure: Precision marble machines are commonly used, with granite crossbeams commonly used on the X-axis and equipped with linear guides. The Y-axis adopts a hardware enclosed ring design, and the Z-axis is driven by cross guides and ball screws to ensure no deformation or deviation during operation, ensuring measurement stability.
Flexible light source configuration: comes standard with coaxial light, adjustable partition LED ring lights, etc. Some models support replaceable RGB light sources or strobe lighting, which can adapt to the imaging needs of workpieces with different colors and surface roughness.
Intelligent functions
Automatic learning measurement: The device can remember parameters such as operation path, focus position, and light matching, achieving a "one click reproduction" measurement process.
Image map navigation: Generate a bird's-eye view image map, support full screen target traction with "go wherever you click", and display measurement results synchronously with the image.
SPC statistical analysis: Automatically generate measurement reports (including text, charts, and graphical annotations), supporting quality control and process improvement.
Core working principle
Imaging acquisition: By using high-resolution CCD or CMOS industrial cameras, coupled with a telecentric lens to reduce perspective errors, and supplemented with programmable light sources such as circular LEDs, the contour and details of the measured object are clearly imaged and transmitted to a computer.
Image processing localization: Computer software first preprocesses the image by removing noise, enhancing contrast, etc., and then uses algorithms such as edge extraction and sub-pixel analysis to accurately identify key features such as the center, intersection, and contour of the object.
Motion and Calculation: The precision X-Y-Z mobile platform drives the stage or camera to move, and the grating ruler provides displacement closed-loop feedback. The software combines feature point coordinates with platform displacement data to calculate geometric parameters such as length, angle, roundness, and positional tolerances.
Key points for use and maintenance
It should be placed in a clean environment with a temperature of 20 ℃± 5 ℃ and a humidity of ≤ 60% to avoid vibration and dust; Keep level during transportation to prevent impact and compression; After use, wipe the workbench and cover it with a dust cover, and regularly apply lubricating oil to the transmission mechanism; Do not disassemble optical components or modify software error compensation parameters on your own to avoid affecting measurement accuracy.
