The suppressor of ion exchange chromatography is mainly used to reduce the background conductivity of the eluent and increase the conductivity value of the measured ions, improving the signal-to-noise ratio. After passing through the suppressor, the rinse solution is neutralized into water with very low conductivity, and the tested sample is converted into the corresponding acid or base, greatly improving the sensitivity of the tested sample.
