Real time composition analysis of alloy materials using portable alloy analyzer

  Portable alloy analyzerIt is an on-site detection equipment designed based on spectral analysis technology. With core characteristics such as small size, fast detection, accurate results, and convenient operation, it is widely used in fields such as metal processing, aerospace, automotive manufacturing, and waste metal recycling. It achieves real-time composition analysis and brand recognition of alloy materials and is a mobile analysis station that replaces traditional laboratory testing. ​
Fast and accurate detection is its core competitiveness. The equipment adopts X-ray fluorescence (XRF) or laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technology, which does not require sample pretreatment. The probe can be aimed at the sample to start detection, and alloy composition analysis can be completed within 10-30 seconds with an accuracy rate of over 99%. The detection element covers most metal elements from magnesium to uranium, and can accurately determine the content of key elements such as chromium, nickel, molybdenum, titanium and other alloys with an error of ≤ 0.1%. It can effectively distinguish between 304 and 316 stainless steel, different grades of aluminum alloys and other easily confused materials. In the machining workshop, workers can conduct on-site testing of incoming alloy composition to avoid production accidents caused by misuse of materials; In the aerospace field, alloy grades are used to test aircraft components to ensure compliance with performance requirements such as high strength and high temperature resistance. ​

The portable design and ability to adapt to complex environments are outstanding. The equipment usually weighs 1-3kg and is designed to be handheld or hand-held. It is equipped with a large capacity lithium battery and can work continuously for more than 8 hours on a single charge, meeting the needs of outdoor, workshop, construction site and other mobile scenarios. The body adopts anti drop, dust-proof, and waterproof design (with a protection level of up to IP54/IP65), and can operate stably in a wide temperature environment from -10 ℃ to 50 ℃. At the scrap metal recycling site, staff use handheld analyzers to quickly sort different grades of scrap steel and aluminum, improving recycling efficiency and value; In oil pipeline maintenance, on-site inspection of pipeline alloy composition is carried out to evaluate the degree of corrosion and service life. ​
Intelligent operation and data management enhance practicality. Equipped with a high-definition touch screen and a simple operation interface, it has a built-in database of thousands of alloy grades. The test results are automatically compared with the database, directly displaying the alloy grade and composition content, and can be operated without professional knowledge. Real time synchronization of detection reports to computers or mobile phones, generating PDF format reports for archiving, facilitating quality traceability. In shipbuilding, on-site sampling of welding materials is used to ensure welding quality; In university material laboratories, as on-site analysis tools for teaching and research, it assists in the research of alloy materials. ​
